Eight ways we
make it go away.

From a free photo ID through to a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee — every service priced clearly, scheduled honestly, and signed off by the same qualified hands that do the work.

01

Photo in. Answer back.

Free identification

Send a clear shot of the leaf, the stem and the wider stand. A qualified surveyor will confirm whether you're looking at Reynoutria japonica, a hybrid, or one of the common look-alikes — bindweed, Russian vine, dogwood, bamboo. Same-day response in working hours.

02

From £295 + VAT

RICS-aligned survey

On-site mapping of every visible stand, an estimate of rhizome depth, photographs, a marked plan and a written Knotweed Management Plan that satisfies TA6, your solicitor and your lender. Turned around within 5 working days.

03

From £1,500 + VAT · 3–5 seasons

Herbicide treatment programme

Glyphosate-based foliar spray and stem injection, timed to the plant's late-season translocation cycle so the kill reaches the rhizome. Annual monitoring visits, photographic records and a closing report. Compatible with most boundary, garden and amenity settings.

04

From £4,000 + VAT

Full excavation

When you can't wait for a multi-year programme, we lift the rhizome whole. Off-site disposal under EA / NRW duty of care, or — for larger plots — root-barrier-encapsulated on-site burial at depth. Suited to development, sale, or extension projects.

05

Brownfield & development

On-site burial & bunding

Where excavation is the answer but volumes are large, we encapsulate material in geotextile membrane and bury at depth, or stockpile in treatment bunds for staged remediation. Cost-controlled, programme-aware, fully documented for the discharge of planning conditions.

06

5 or 10 years

Insurance-backed guarantee

Every treatment programme can be backed by an FCA-regulated IBG accepted by Halifax, Nationwide, Santander, Barclays, NatWest, HSBC, Principality and the rest of the major UK lender list. Transferable on sale.

07

Quiet rescues, mid-sale

Mortgage & solicitor liaison

Sale falling through because of a knotweed flag? We deal directly with your solicitor and the lender's panel surveyor to get the plan, the IBG and the disclosure paperwork to the right desk in the right order — usually inside a week.

08

Independent

Re-inspections & second opinions

If another firm has quoted excavation when treatment would do, or treatment when excavation is the only safe answer, we'll give you an honest written second opinion before you commit.
