Documents to request
- PCA-member surveyor's report identifying the species.
- Site plan showing extent and proximity to structures.
- Written management plan with method statement.
- Treatment schedule and stem-count records to date.
- Insurance-backed guarantee certificate (assignable).
- Underwriter contact details for assignment confirmation.
- Contractor's PA1 + PA6AW certificates.
- Contractor's waste-carrier licence.
- Confirmation that any waste removed has gone to a licensed facility (transfer notes).
- Photographic record from each treatment visit.
- Confirmation of next scheduled treatment date.
If anything is missing
Pause exchange and request it. A complete pack is the only protection against a TA6 misrepresentation claim further down the line, and it is the single document set every lender will ask to see.
